Ello travellers! I’m Liam, a Multimedia Journalism student at Bournemouth University who loves to travel. I’m only 21, but I’m quite the explorer and this has led to my love of travel writing. Oh, and I take a half-decent photo too. See a photo grid of my trips here.

Since I first started making my way around the globe, I’ve had some fascinating experiences. Travelling to South East Asia, becoming a holiday courier in France for four months and climbing Mt Kilimanjaro after raising £3,000 for charity.

Since then, I’ve merged this passion with a career, and since starting at University my vision has changed.

Creating news features, investigative pieces and a couple of short films (the latest involving a trip to a post-war town in Bosnia), I’ve now got the multimedia skills to be able to tell a narrative in an edgy, creative way.

I aim to give a voice to those who don’t have one, report on marginalised communities around the world and plan on freelancing overseas for the UK’s most popular distributors of news and features.

That’s enough about me for now.

Regular posts, decent photos and Liam’s words of wisdom – enjoy.
